In-Kind Products or Services

In-kind contributions primarily include items, products, or services that are provided free of charge or at a substantial discount to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. In-kind donations are most commonly used for wish granting.

The Oregon chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has one of the highest in-kind to cash ratios for wish granting and is able to grant wishes thanks to the generous support of in-kind donors.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR WISHES:
(all items must be new and unopened):

• Gifts for teenagers
• Hand-held travel games
• Princess-themed items
• Long-distance phone cards
• Luggage
• Art supplies
• Markers
• Beach towels
• Sunscreen (minimum 30 spf)
• Disney® balloons & mylar balloons
• Disney® stickers
• Disposable cameras & 35mm film
• Film developing
• Limousine rides (to and from the airport)
• Gift certificates for family-fun restaurants
• Gift certificates for video stores ($15 increments)
• Gift certificates for music stores ($15 increments)
• Gift certificates for book stores ($15 increments)
• Gift certificates for electronic stores ($15 increments)
• Lodging in Hawaii for five nights/six days (preferably Oahu, Maui or the Big Island)
• Building expertise and materials for play structures
• Gaming systems (X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3)
• Small gifts with Disney, Dora the Explorer and superhero themes
• Computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) and age appropriate games
• Party supplies for wish presentation parties

ITEMS FOR USE IN THE OFFICE:

• Postage stamps
• Plain white copy paper (8 1/2 x 11)
