Planned Giving The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon is proud to announce a new way of giving that enables you to support wishes more efficiently, create financial benefits for you and your family, and ultimately provide the possibility to grant a local wish each year in perpetuity. Planned gifts to the Foundation include bequests, gift annuities, charitable trusts, gifts of retirement assets and life insurance policies. In addition to satisfying philanthropic goals, your gift to the Oregon chapter can offer significant financial planning opportunities. Planned gifts offer income tax charitable deductions and allow the donor to avoid capital gains tax on the transfer of appreciated assets to the Foundation. Gift planning offers many ways for donors to substantially increase their support of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon and achieve their financial goals and family objectives at the same time. In conjunction with the U.S. Bank team, we would be happy to discuss (in confidence) with you or your professional advisors the many ways to make gifts that benefit both you and the Foundation. When naming the Foundation in your planned giving efforts, please use the organization’s full name: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, Inc. and specifically note that your intent is to support children in Oregon and Clark County, Washington.
