The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. We fulfill our mission with the help of more than 200 dedicated volunteers statewide.

To begin the process of becoming a volunteer, please provide us with your contact information and mark the volunteer opportunities that interest you most. Once we receive this form, you will be notified of upcoming New Volunteer Orientations, where you will be given our volunteer application and more information about the Foundation.

Wish Granters - Wish granters work in teams to help facilitate the wish process from beginning to completion. These volunteers work directly with wish children to ascertain a wish, coordinate with staff to plan the wish and seek in-kind goods and services. Each wish is unique and determines the level of the wish granter's involvement. Fundraising Volunteers - Special event volunteers may work on a committee level planning events or help the day of an event. Events may include golf tournaments, radiothons, nationwide promotions and more.	Wish Consultants - Administrative volunteers help with the behind-the-scenes work to keep operations running. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular weekly shift. Duties may include mailings, computer work and other office projects. Language Interpreters/Translators - Some wish children and their families request assistance in their native language to understand the process of a wish. We also need help in the office translating documents. Our most common need is for Spanish-speaking volunteers.
