2007 Food, Wine & Wishes

Food, Wine & Wishes on Oct. 6 at The Governor Hotel was truly magical with the presence of six local wish kids who came to the event to help during the live auction.  The event raised more than $295,000 for future wish kids just like them.

One highlight of the evening was the presentation of the inaugural “Katie’s Star Award” in memory of wish kid Katie Morris, which was presented to Pete Sinclair for his lasting impact on the Oregon chapter.  Another special moment was playing wish child Joshua’s pirate adventure on the big screens for the crowd and then welcoming his family on stage.  The magical evening ended with auctioning off a puppy and the winning bidder gifting it to 4-year-old wish child Adrianne.
