How Can Our Money Help?
Here is a breakdown of how donations of any level can help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
$5,000 can help fund:
• An entire wish experience. (This donation would allow you to Adopt-A Wish® of a local child and know the name, age and some details about the child.)
$2,500 can help fund:
• The computer and monitor portion of a computer wish.
• Airline tickets for a wish family of four flying across the country.
$1,500 can help fund:
• Spending money for a wish family of four during a travel wish.
• A family of four’s weekly hotel accommodations while on a wish.
$1,000 can help fund:
• A new bedroom set as part of a wish for a bedroom makeover.
• A television for an entertainment center wish.
$750 can help fund:
• Souvenirs for 10 children during their wish trips.
$500 can help fund:
• Shore excursions for a family of five taking a cruise wish.
• An Xbox for an entertainment center wish.
$250 can help fund:
• Limo transportation for a wish child to and from the airport.
• Games, movies and accessories for a computer wish.
$100 can help fund:
• Ice-breaker gifts for six children. These are delivered by volunteer wish granters when meeting with children and their families for the first time.
• Wish gifts for two children to add to the wish experience. Items may include backpacks for travel, accessories for a computer or posters for a bedroom makeover.
• Wish parties for four children. Volunteers coordinate these parties to send off families on wish trips, or to present the children with their thing wishes
