Past Events: Horizon Broadcasting Groups 9th Annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon in Central Oregon

February 25 & 26, 2010

Thanks to Horizon Broadcasting Group, Central Oregon donors, volunteers and Bend River Promenade for supporting the 9rd annual Make-A-Wish® Radiothon!  We raised nearly 22,000 dollars and more than 195,000 airline miles to help grant wishes in Central Oregon.

On February 25 and 26 Horizon Broadcasting Groups stations The Peak 104.1, 105.7 KQAK and Lite 95.1 conducted a live broadcast all day, both days, from Bend River Promenade to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon. The magical day consisted of recorded wish story montages with music, as well as live interviews with local wish families, volunteers and sponsors.  Radio personalities Debby Bever, Dave Clemens, Bryon Mengle, Jack Friday and Eric McKaig kept up the energy all day to get the word out about the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
