Thanks to KVAL and the Lane County community, Miles For Smiles was a huge success!  We smashed our 500,000 miles goal by raising 2.4 million frequent flier miles!  All day long, KVAL’s Jennifer Winters and Al Peterson reported live from SELCO Community Credit Union’s Gateway Financial Center to encourage viewers to call the volunteer phone bank and donate frequent flier miles for travel-related wishes.

Seventy-five percent of Oregon wishes require airline travel and this is your way to help directly impact children’s dreams when they need it most.
