Past Events: “Spirit of Disneyland II” Launch Celebration

Alaska Airlines revealed its “Spirit of Disneyland II” aircraft featuring the faces of Disney’s most recognized characters — Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Alaska and Disney invited three local Make-A-Wish children and their families to travel on the inaugural flight from PDX to LAX for their wishes to Disneyland® Resort.  At the PDX celebration, Mickey and Pluto surprised wish kids Ramsey (3), Avarie (5) and Nathan (4) with a special visit, including lots of fun, photos, music and gifts.
