On Saturday, October 25, 2008, an extraordinary event will take place at The Portland Art Museum in downtown Portland.  The annual Food, Wine & Wishes gala auction will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. 

Please join in this year’s effort by donating items, becoming an event sponsor, advertising in the auction catalog or attending the event as a guest.

The goal for this year’s auction is to raise $350,000 – enough to fulfill 70 children’s wishes, such as a wish to go to Hawaii, to have a play structure, to meet a favorite celebrity, or to be a zoo keeper. 

We hope you are able to contribute or attend.  It’s a wonderful way to share the power of a wish® with many courageous children in our community.
