Tune in to Eugene’s KVAL Channel 13 on Thursday July 23, 2009 for Miles For Smiles, a telethon benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon. 

All day long, KVAL’s Jennifer Winters or Al Peterson will be encouraging viewers to call in and donate frequent flier miles for travel-related wishes.

Make-A-Wish Image 34th Annual Home Improvement Show™ Auction presented by the Oregon Remodelers Association

On Thursday, September 24, 2009, the 34th Annual Home Improvement Show will take place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. This annual event is presented by Oregon Remodelers Association and, this year, will include a one-night charity auction to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon.

Ross Coleman, the 2008 Katie’s Star award recipient, hosts this bull riding event annually in Molalla, Ore. to benefit the Foundation.  Hold on to your hats and join us for two action-packed evenings, August 7 & 8.
